Location is fantastic! An aging hotel kept in good condition, clean rooms
Reception are a little cold room is small and lack of air-conditioner (fan is provided), and the hotel or floor is quite warm and stuffy (very little natural air flow)

The hotel is close to the Isartor S-bahn station and only a 5-minute walk from Marienplatz. The staff are very helpful and ensure several nice-touches in the rooms and common spaces.
It is a converted apartment building. There seem to have been constraints by the former building's architecture resulting in small spaces, especially bathrooms. Some finishes in the redecoration (windows, radiators etc.) remind of the former nature of the building.

Odd, different toiletries every day, not able to provide some basics like conditioner or washcloths. Breakfast fine. Noisy at night from thin walls and workers beginning far too early with some revamp in basement.

Excellent buffet breakfast available, and the lady who managed the restuarant area was incredibly helpful. Nice touch to provide apple/biscuits on pillow. First hotel with a mini bar that we came across in Europe after visiting Amsterdam, Brussels and Berlin.
No airconditioning available. No english news channels programmed into the television. Staff did not replace used shampoo/shower gel when they made up room.

Its expensive for the size of room we got.
